The Inmarsat BGAN Patrol is the world's first BGAN terminal designed for soldiers and emergency services. It features the Hughes 9203 BGAN Communications-on-the-Move terminal, allowing users to stay connected on foot.
The device extends Line of Sight IP networks and enables Beyond-Line-of-Sight communications independently of terrestrial networks. It supports up to 200 kbps standard background IP via ethernet or Wi-Fi.
